Admission process
Eligibility Requirements
Undergraduate (Diploma Level)
Completion of high school (Grade 12 or equivalent).
Official transcript showing grades and graduation date.
Minimum required average (usually 60% and above; some programs such as Pharmacy or Nursing may require 70%+).
English proficiency (for English-medium programs) – either:
Passing Cihan Institute’s internal placement test, or
Providing IELTS/TOEFL certificate (optional but recommended).
Short-Term / Vocational Courses
Completion of Grade 9 or higher.
Basic knowledge in the subject (depending on the course, e.g., programming or AutoCAD).
No English test required for short-term training courses.
International Students
Same academic requirements as above.
Must provide legalized copies of transcripts and certificates in English or Arabic.
Valid passport (minimum 1-year validity).
Residency permit will be arranged after enrollment.
Online Application –
- Fill out the application form with personal details, academic history, and chosen program of study.
- Upload the required documents (see checklist below).
Document Submission
Applicants must submit:
- High school diploma & transcript (or equivalent).
- Copy of national ID / Passport.
- 4 recent passport-sized photos.
- English test results (if available).
- Application fee payment receipt.
Entrance Assessment
- Some programs (like Health Sciences or Computer Science) may require an entrance test in English, Mathematics, or Science.
- Applicants without proof of English proficiency will sit for the Cihan English Placement Exam.
Interview (If Required)
A short interview with faculty members may be scheduled to evaluate motivation, communication skills, and program suitability.
Conditional / Final Acceptance
- Successful applicants will receive a Conditional Admission Letter via email.
- Final admission is confirmed after verification of original documents and payment of the initial tuition deposit.
Registration & Orientation
- Students complete their registration in person at the campus.
- Receive a Student ID, class schedule, and academic calendar.
- Attend the Orientation Week introducing campus facilities, faculty, and student services.
Important dates and guidelines
The School opens admission in November every year. Admission is a two step process. In the first step the children write an entrance test after the registration.

New sessions typically start every 2 months (e.g., September, November, January, March, May, July).

⚠️ Important Notes for Applicants
Early Applications are encouraged — limited seats in Health Sciences and Computer Science fill quickly.
International Students should apply at least 2 months before deadlines to allow for visa and residency processing.
Admission dates may shift slightly each year, depending on Ministry of Higher Education guidelines.
