Welcome to the Pharmacy Department at Cihan Institute. Our two-year program is designed to prepare students with the essential knowledge and practical skills needed to work effectively as pharmacy assistants and technicians in hospitals, community pharmacies, and healthcare settings.

Objectives of Field Studies
- Apply classroom and laboratory knowledge in real pharmacy practice.
Gain hands-on experience in dispensing, compounding, and patient counseling.

Training Sites
Students are placed in:
Community Pharmacies – learning prescription handling, dispensing, and patient interaction.
Hospital Pharmacies – exposure to inpatient and outpatient pharmacy services, medication storage, and clinical support.
Pharmaceutical Warehouses/Companies – understanding drug distribution, inventory, and pharmaceutical sales.
Health Centers – participation in basic healthcare support and public health services.
Duration & Supervision
- Conducted in the fourth (final) semester.
Training lasts 8–10 weeks (depending on the placement).
Students are supervised by licensed pharmacists at training sites.
Performance is monitored and evaluated jointly by the institute faculty and the training supervisor.
